    It was a reference to us changing our home shorts from white to red and the reasons JAQ gave for doing so. just a little light hearted comment that she wanted a white flag but the women asked her to change it to red so she did.

    Do you accept mediocrity then?! We should have been able to make Man Utd work harder for this. Do the basics, stay tight and get organised. We look a shambles at the back. This is a Man Utd team that isn't particularly good, problems off the field, Ten Hag under pressure again and Barnsley roll into town and make it oh so easy for them.

    There is a very good reason why women's teams dont want to,you're right. No reason at all why the men's team have to change to copy the women though right? Men don't get periods

    I understand that. And I think criticising that is fine. We should have performed better. The teams we usually face are not as clinical and don’t put our defenders under the same pressure as man united is all I am saying.

    I honestly believe that against a league one side it would probably be 2 or 3 to them at the moment from the unforced errors we've done that's gifted chances. Wouldn't be 5 at all but 2 or 3 comfortably sadly.

    Obviously we'd have had much more opportunities at the other end too

    I don’t think the errors are always as unforced as you suggest. Their press is better than anything we usually face and the occasion factor. it is disappointing when we can’t pass to our players however!
