    One thing I asked for was not to be embarrassed.

    But with a defence like ours against Prem opposition, I guess I was asking too much.

    Hopefully it doesn't cause the team to lose too much confidence

    Absolutely not. No doubting the quality we’ve faced this evening.

    But we were just as poor defensively a few days ago against a side whose budget is much smaller than ours.

    Genuinely, we’d have been beaten by most of League One tonight. That’s my point. It’s not about it being against Man Utd. There are some serious issues showing, regardless of opposition.

    And they’ve scored two more while I’ve typed this.

    And once again. Ericsen ran, at a slow pace, unmarked from the centre circle to the penalty area to slot home. Do we not have any eyes? I could see him from my sofa so why couldn't any of our players notice the guy dressed in red and think 'eyup, it might be a good idea if I run towards him?'
