Didn't someone post the other day that we've been the team that's been beat 7-0 the most ? Well that's another to notch up
He’s not going to get any attention otherwise. Not good enough. Not pushed on like Baz has. Tending to show in his lack of discipline. Probably stopped saying please and thank you
Well that was embarrassing. Wild to think that our goalkeeper is almost certainly our best paid player.
Totally outclassed. Hopefully, we recover our composure for Saturday. Best aspect for me was the fantastic support. Well done, everyone. The fans did us proud.
???? Very different? Yeah we’re all delighted … Who’s reaction are you referring to? We’ve been exceptionally poor on our big night. The result was never really likely to be anything different but the manner of it and the margin allowed is a concern, there are things we can question the manager on - like how Corey O’Keeffe was still on the field in the last minute to chat himself into a booking, what Kyran Lofthouse has to do to get a start, why was a front two of Max Watters and Fabio Jalo selected; why was Vimal taken off at half time when as the least experienced of the lot he’d shown as much bottle and ability as anyone else? Poor from all - nobody comes away with any credit whatsoever. Not a single person, player or coach. A very sobering night. I’m not convinced we ought to throw the baby out with the bath water about getting humbled by a multimillionaire team of internationals though. I thought Ten Hag was very respectful with the starting eleven he put out - and didn’t exactly weaken them with his substitutions. If anything some harsh lessons have been given in the last two fixtures and we have to learn very quickly from them. Had this been under Collins - in the second month of his term - the reaction would have been broadly the same. The ire he received towards the end might have been over the top on some quarters, but he’d completely lost the plot it has to be said. He’d barely won a fixture in months; only against the two teams in the bottom four. Clarke deserves a go, like Collins got - but he needs to step up as it hasn’t been great so far, a few moments aside.
Me and ar young en left at half time, he’s 6 and to be quite honest it’s a real task keeping him entertained for 90 minutes, especially when you’re getting your arse handed to you. I wish I hadnt have bothered, not because of the scoreline but for his sake. Having a real hard time forcing BFC onto him, all his mates at school are all City, Chelsea etc. Today was another nail in the coffin for him, and that’s the saddest part of the day for me. On a personal note, I saw it coming and I’m not abit concerned by the score line. We’ll be fine in the league but that defence is very concerning. I don’t think Robert’s and O’Keefe should be anywhere near the starting 11. Special mention for the fans, the ones who go week in week out. Well done lads, you did your club proud. The day trippers, couldn’t care less about that lot.
I'll agree with you about Roberts who, in his favour, unlike Hourihane never suggested he would be getting some coaching in. The frightening thing about Slonina is that he's probably paid more than any other player on our books. He'll be another loanee who in years to come will probably have a glittering career and we'll give our heads a shake when we think how gash he was for us.
Yep, he looked nervous in the interview beforehand though, and his shot on goal wasn't very convincing.
