I wouldn't have played Watters every game, and I wouldn't play this lad every game.

Watters is our player, Slonina isn't. Watching Slonina make mistake after mistake in order to give him the opportunity to be a better player for his parent club doesn't strike me as a particularly sound strategy.

I have to be honest mate I stuck up for them up until 4-0, as soon as I saw their side I knew we were in trouble so I couldn’t understand peoples reaction. Having said that, I left at 3-0 at half time as ar babbi was fed up and worn out. Just watched the goals in the second half now and I can understand peoples reaction. 1 pass completely wiping the defence out, a simple left to right lob lead ton4 of their goals. Playing with Wingbacks away at old Trafford seems like suicide to me.

 

The whole team doesn't look solid and cohesive, we need to be patient and let things evolve.

 

The positve for me tonight was that I watched the game in salou and I wasnt the only barnsley fan in the bar. Got talking to a couple from great houghton and a couple from grimey.

Other than that I got alot of sympothy from the scousers in the otherside of the bar.

 

What's the benefit of doing that for a player who is costing us games and points when that player isn't ours? And it's not like we don't have players in that position who are ours. We absolutely do. I'm sure they're just as capable as making mistakes as Slonina, but at least they're ours.
