Radio Sheffield, but mainly listen to Podcasts or Apple Music, which was this morning on my commute to work, band of choice today the mighty Sleep Token
Planet Rock where rock lives , get it on DAB or the RAYO app ( which has loads of stations ) it’s all I listen to now
If your car is Android Auto / Apple Car play compatible you could stream most radio stations, either via their own app or something like TuneIn Radio app. I stream Absolute radio stations even though I have got them on DAB as well because I can't be bothered to switch back out of Android Auto to the native radio list. Edit: Just noticed you have a 73 Beatle. So no, don't imagine it is AA or Carplay compatible
6Music is first choice, but depends what's on, could be Radio 2, 4, 4 extra, 5, 5 Sports Extra or Radio Sheffield if I'm driving to the match to get the team news. I also listen to podcasts quite a bit (through Android Auto), especially No such thing as a Fish - which is done by the QI elves. If none of that takes my fancy then I've got a USB stick plugged in with most of my music collection on - quite often hit the random button.
I put absolute radio on and then sometimes alternate with absolute 80s/90s. And radio Sheffield on match days.
Radio 4 or various programs on BBC sounds - Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, John Kane's northern soul show, DJ Spooney, Pick of the Pops if its between 1968 and 1982, Johnny Walker's sounds of the 70's, even Tony Blackburn's Golden Hour.
We had a mustard yellow one with a black vinyl roof. As you say, I wish we still had it, especially as mi dad in't allowed to drive any more.
Yeah definitely Mr goatee beard lol, I remember the days when we used to buy music cassette tapes. Cd's weren't even invented then were they!.
