    Barnsley’s highlight was a fantastic block from Cotter, which wasn’t necessary cos the flag had gone up, but it was a great piece of defending nonetheless. Can’t really think of another highlight. If the video was just of Cotter’s block I’d watch it, but I suspect it isn’t…

    A few observations:

    Look at the back line we're keeping for their third, which comes from a punt from their keeper. O'Keeffe is 5 to 10 yards behind the rest of the defence, allowing two of the opposition forwards to bear down on our goal completely unopposed, easily onside and yards ahead of the rest of our defence. From a hopeful kick upfield from their keeper. This goal has nothing to do with us playing a Premier League side, it's just appalling defending from us. Who is coaching these players?

    4th goal. McCarthy has just been brought on to play right centre-half. Where is he? Can anyone spot him? Again, who is coaching these players?

    5th goal. That pass from Craig. They haven't scored because they're Man Utd, they've scored because the team we happen to be playing is playing us.

    You can tear any goal you concede apart I suppose (what were you doing for their first Marc?), but we were just gifting them chance after chance. It's so undisciplined It's not OK.

    It makes for a rough watch. Highly questionable defending and a a number of generous gifts to a side that will punish us for making such mistakes.
