    Plenty of overs left today to polish them off and get to 15 points ahead of Middlesex again. Looks like there’s plenty in that wicket for Coad and Fisher

    Without reading this thread and having limited knowledge of how the points scoring works until i looked at it earlier, it looks like Yorkshire should get promoted barring Middlesex beating Sussex and the rain stopping them or of course losing, but a Sussex victory means promotion doesn’t it ?

    We need to focus on maximising the bonus points next week and force Middlesex to play for the win. I would prepare the track for a draw but most games aren't even getting to Day 4 at the moment so probably just go for the win and hope for the best.

    Lancashire have decided the title race in div 1. By beating Somerset. But sadly I think not enough points on the board to stop relegation. Yorks v Lancs. The best on the calendar.

    Yorkshire and Lancashire. The Cricket version of Barnsley and Rotherham as a local derby that never seems to happen at the higher level due to yoyoing between leagues.
