I mean he just could pay for an Arsenal FC private box out of his own money (£ several thousand per match). He could just buy his own glasses (£2,275 wtf?). He and his wife could buy their own clothes (£16k approx). He could pay for his own accommodation (£20k).At least then he'd avoid having to give and then take back Lord Alli's Downing Street pass despite not having any official role in government.

I remember being told I was wrong when I suggested Starmer wanted to be prime minister for the money & lifestyle it would afford him as his income from working full time in law was more than a prime ministers salary.

I think those people are quickly seeing how the perks of the job far outweigh any salary he could earn practising law.

The prime minister has been under scrutiny for days over his more than £100,000 of freebies and gifts over the last parliament, with another £8,000-plus due to be registered for the free use of a hospitality box at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
