Anyone know where I can obtain the B.F.C. red programme binders from as they are not available anymore from the club shop Thanks.
I think you'd have to buy from independent outlets. And can have inscriptions on em. But not cheap especially if you've got hundreds. (Most will hold 20 max) ebay have a large selection of suppliers. It would cost me a fortune tbh So i use storage boxes. Most still in excellent condition going back as far as the 50s.
Sadly mate they will become a thing of the past. With the clubs going the digital programmes route. 13 clubs on the information I can find, no longer produce magazines.
Do you still buy them mate? I can’t remember the last time I bought one for myself. My mate lost his sight but still always asked me to get them for his collection, but he knocked it on the head eventually. Was it Crawley who had replaced them with a monthly magazine?
Not sure mate. But about 6-7 yrs ago talking to mi eldest he said "what are you going to do with them programmes" I said "part of your inheritance lol". As I made sure I had every one (home and away) since he was born in 79 + 100s of others from yrs b4. Cup finals etc. He said "what am I going to do wi em" so stopped buying em lol.
Does your lad still attend games? Mines 28 now and used to be a ST holder, but lapsed when he went to uni. He only comes for the new grounds now, watches most games on the stick.
Without searching it out , I think it was Derby away where a programme was issued Newspaper style and I think it covered 2 games, us and someone else. Cack. Difficult to keep it neat so to speak having to fold the bugger.
Still a season ticket holder. Coming up 45. Takes my Granddaughter (season ticket holder) but she's still choosy at the mo lol. 8yrs of age. Football or dancing. He does the odd few aways as well. My youngest lad was never interested tbh. Been to the odd game. Lives in london so come to one or two to join up with me. Also handy if me and his mam fancy a weekend at his. And I go to games from there lol.
