Hope I'm wrong with my prediction but that's just a opinion.

I can't give much credit for that 1 on 1 v Crawley where he hasn’t even brought a save from the keeper, he hits it wide. Cole misses that last season and the pitchforks would be out.

A think if all those 4 hit double figures we’d be pushing top 2

he hit the post, same as Phillips did with his first shot. Who’s to say he wouldn’t have taken his next chance? We don’t know because he got injured.

Re the pitchforks being out for Cole - for hitting the post in a comfortable 3-0 away win? Behave thisen. :D

You realise the post isn't a shot on target? He was through on goal should have done alot better.
And if Cole missed that last season it wouldn't have been forgotten by the Cole haters. I can't give much praise for been through on goal and not even bringing a save from the keeper.

No one hated Cole many just think he was a limited forward which indeed he is. When he was playing with confidence early last season he was good but reverted to type later in the season.

I think alot of the criticism and stick he got in the stands and on social media was unwarranted. So much so when he left he sent a goodbye message to the fans and acknowledged the stick he received. He was a decent league one striker nothing more or less. Have we got better than him and macatee now?

Absolutely crazy argument for argument sake. What if the ball goes in off the post? Is that on target? Isn’t it ok to say “unlucky” when someone beats the keeper but hits the post? Why bother having a keeper if they should be beaten every time?

Just accept other peoples opinion and move on. No one’s asking you to like Watters or to give him any credit. It’s ok for people to want to give him credit just because you don’t.

I only commented because you said he was unlucky not to score when in reality he should have scored bloke was one on one with the keeper and failed to draw a save or hit the target.

Will have to see the forwards aren't too much different apart from dkd and Humphrys instead of macatee and Cole. So time will tell so far we're in the top 4 scoring teams in the league I'd like one forward to stand out though and score consistently.

I think DKD and Humphrys are an upgrade but we really needed to get another forward in.

Oh come on. He put it wide from 6 yards out. All strikers miss chances but that's exactly what it was. A miss.

If someone scores off the woodwork of course that's on target, it's in the net. If you hit the woodwork and it comes out because you've hit it further along the woodwork then it's off target. To argue they're both equally as on target is bonkers.

There's also an obviously higher chance of the ball going past the keeper if you put it wide than if you hit it on target.
