    I hate this batting line up. In both tests and one dayers. Same players failing consistently. Salt in particular.

    Salt is not an international standard batsman. Mind you, in the white ball format I’m not sure who is these days. We really are poor…..

    In other news the ballot I think is now shut for Headingley tickets for the India test next June. 50 to 150 for adults tickets for the first three days.

    Remember when Lords said about two weeks ago they would look at ticket prices after it was about a third full for Sri Lanka? Well they are starting prices at 90 pounds for restricted viewing....

    Went to the last test against India and I thought I paid about £50 then. Was gutted to miss the day we bowled them out so spectacularly but got to see Joe Root make his century the next.
