Why did they announce that there had been racist chanting from the ponty end?

    It’s the IRA chants. The ponty did it again the minute it was announced on the tannoy.

    I thought the announcement came after the Yorkshire Ripper chant, for some weird reason. Then the Ponty did the IRA one with extra gusto....

    Nope - Stockport did that chant before we did. They didn’t get called out on it. It’s the IRA chant we did.
