Rubbish. Third tier matches should never be called off for fourth, fifth and sixth tier "international" player call-ups.
Disagree with respect. At our level international players are going to be from "lesser" countries (think one of Readings is for Malta) but that is still the pinnacle of a players career and shouldn't be a clash with league games, assuming it's the proper three players clearly. I think rules have been tightened this season so we can't include (for example) Josiah Dyer in our three as no impact on the squad. But would we want to play a match without Slonina, Pines and Connell if they all got called up? Absolutely not. Bigger issue for me is scheduling. Just call off L1 on international weeks and have done with it.
