I'm with whitey on this. I obviously want the best possible result, but at this stage, I'd just like to see us putting a better performance in.

More like the first five minutes against Stockport. Less aimless hoofery. More bravery. Better shape. Better decision making.

If we can do that, I think we'll win. If the performance resembles the last one, we'll be very lucky to come away with a point.

Heart says home win head says score draw.

I’d accept that if the performance is at least a lot better than Saturday tbh

I’d like to see Russell or Hourihane in for Craig/Phillips midfield needs freshening up

Hourihane is nowhere near first team fitness wise. He needs, and needed to, play more in the U21s. I agree a fit Hourihane would give us a great midfield option, but sadly he’s just not ready.

Totally agree, it’s another game that’s difficult to predict though I think that could mean it’s a game that is difficult to see us winning.

Thankfully, I had other commitments on Saturday evening so didn’t have to suffer the Stockport game but from reading the comments I didn’t miss out.

Wycombe appear to be a decent outfit and on current Opta forecasting are predicted to finish 4th (against our 6th) so it’s going to be a tough game and you could argue more difficult than Saturdays.

I’m struggling to make a compelling case for us winning at home especially against a decent side. They’ve scored 2 goals in all their games thus far and like us have only kept one clean sheet so goals are expected. At best - and like you - I tend to favour a score draw though I can see us slipping up so I'm goiong Wycombe double chance and over 2 goals at 12/5. Hopefully, my poor predictions this season will continue.

How do we know ? Don’t watch training day in day out I assume he’s fit and ready to go when needed, if he’s not it’s unforgivable

Depends which reds team turn up. The one that played at Crawley and home to Bristol will win
The one at Stevenage or last Sat will lose
I’m going for in between and another 1-1 draw but with little confidence

We really need to start setting some patterns in midfield by breaking lines and forming X patterns or triangles, I tend to see either all midfielders are in our own final third or they’re all racing in to the opponents final third. There’s no cohesion with one or two short the other long.

I’d love for us to try 4 at the back, whether that’s 4-2-3-1/4-3-3/4-3-2-1. I hear we haven’t got the full backs for it which eludes to us conceding because of it but then I look at what Leeds did under bielsa and they just chose to out score teams. Yes it failed in the prem but in the lower leagues I think it would work more often than not.

Bet for today will be Barnsley or Draw, DKD anytime, Barnsley most corners, BTTS and over 2 goals. Bet £2.50 Returns £30.

    Profit margin £28.50
