I’m 70 and have had the flu jab for many years without any effects afterwards except for minor pain where the needle went in. I have also had all recommended covid vaccinations without side effects. Also, I’ve had them both together on one occasion and no further repercussions. Having said that, one or two of my pals say they have suffered slightly after both the covid and flu vaccs.
I had flu in May. I was floored for a fortnight and lost half a stone. Unfortunately I've found it again since...
An ex nurse friend of mine says the trouble with this one jab fits all for flu or cov and the like. Is that we all are slightly different, thats why it affects people in different ways.. She says that some won't be effected at all, while others will be knocked for six, with multi variables in between
As a first timer I’ll see what happens with fingers crossed. This latest really bad cold has made me think about it and decide that’s it’s time to try it at least once. Flu can be a killer as you get older so it’s not worth the risk
