Bonkers that they insist in using half the away end for home fans when they can’t get anywhere near selling out their home end. I went to Huddersfield v Liverpool in the Premier league a few years ago, and in the not-sold out home end behind the goal, there were rows and rows of complimentary / charity ticket holders.
Of course we will turn up and hand them points. It’s the only consistent thing Barnsley do when a manager is under pressure.
They used to warn when we were close to selling out. Instead - and I appreciate this is my fault for dallying - I decided to get one earlier only to find the "sold out" banner once I'd clicked on the game icon on the ticket site. No announcement on club channels, nothing - which would've saved me the disappointment of thinking there were some left, going to buy one and there not being any.
I took a spare ticket back today, there's a waiting list you can put your name on for any returns. Dunno if that's any help to anyone needing a ticket
I'd suspect when you ring up our club they would print out replacements for you to pick up from the home box office which is at the side of the players entrance.
