I can't think of a manager, at ANY level, who seems so incapable of setting a style of play or an identity, onto a set of players. Maybe Ten Hag pushes DC close. Not sure I can endure much more of the absolute dogsh#t we've seen this week.
Along with most of the crowd by the looks of it. I'm a s/t holder and haven't made the last two home games - this season might be my last as I don't enjoy it much anymore.
They will sack him and put Connor in charge, which I think is what they should have done in the summer and bring a half decent coach in to help him.We are continuing to get worse under Clarke.
Spot on. Hourihane will be next boss. I just hope gets enough time to save our season. If we're getting rid of Coco Clarke it needs to be sooner rather than later. I don't like sacking managers and always advocate patience and sticking by them but if you are gunna get rid. Do it as soon as you realise they're crap.
What indicates Hourihane has the capability to be a Head Coach/Manager at this moment in time?? It seems mental to even suggest it at this stage. Barely even started his coaching career. Clarke needs to be given time, he's been failed by the recruitment team and the inability to secure signings over the summer, the book stops with the CEO and board for me. They are taking the club backwards no doubt about it.
Agree about CH. He could be the same as Redfearn - decent assistant and youth team coach, but crap at head coach. The buck stops with the DoF, not CEO though. That’s his role. However, clearly money has been pumped into the club by the board - so fair enough. And money has been spent on the playing squad too (wages and fees) so it’s not as if we’re not trying as a club. It’s just not clicking yet - very similar to last season really.
