I’m a red through and through but unfortunately I’m feeling very apathetic towards us, used to get annoyed when we lose but now not. Barnsley will always be my team and I’ll support them through and through but at the moment I just can’t be bothered and finding other things to do on a Saturday

I wish I was apathetic. Instead, I was absolutely despondent after the performance today. Seeing a bunch of overpaid fannies try and fail to impersonate professional footballers will, sadly, never bring out apathy in me.

The owners don't seem to care the recruitment of players and head coaches. The players what do they do in training? Simple passing looks a struggle.

The moment Josh Windass scored in the play off final is the moment I became somewhat detached from the club. Walking out of Wembley my thoughts were that we would comfortably finish in the automatics the following season with Duff & that squad, I thought Bobby Thomas would join on a permanent contract, & with a few more additions we would piss it!

But then I woke up the next morning, & the sleep seemed to knock some sense into me. I just knew the squad & management team would be decimated, & sure enough it was. That season delayed the inevitable, it delayed the regression of the club, & now the chickens are coming home to roost, the complete mismanagement of the club since Cryne sold up, from Conway & Lee, to Neerav & the fashion icon, it’s been an absolute shambles. Until they’re gone, I’m gone.

Got to say it cuts deep when we lose, deeper when we lose a derby & deeper when we perform like today :(

It wasn't pretty at the final whistle. When the players came over they were told to F off and called spineless lovely personts.

At what moment in time do we stop blaming him for all the wrong decisions coming our way , and start to criticise the current regime, who where all here when he was

Feel the same, but mine kicked in after relegation.

How can a team that reaches the play offs for the premiership get relegated the following season?

This. Especially as the new regime is basically the old regime with tweaks.

I became ambivalent to our results a while ago, probably before covid. I attend now for the social side with friends, days out and a few drinks. The game itself is still interesting to me and of course I want to win, but I'm past the point of really caring now. Maybe it's maturity but I can't get angry nowadays when we lose. Wembley was the only time recently I've been really gutted about a result.

That said, yesterday did sting a bit. More disappointment that we were so lacklustre against a team on such a poor run.

    I know. I know

Because a person or persons within our boardroom dictated that there was a change in style of play due to the fact that a successful season on the pitch had not translated into enough offers of cash for our assets which had left the board unhappy.

    The chief exec admitted it.

    Exactly!!!.
It seems that it will always be Conway's fault, no matter what this 'current' lot do.
Even for the next 50 years or so, it will still all be down to him.
