Team players and manager have let us down times now this week. Ever since that Utd game it’s knocked us out of our stride (lucky win at burton away aside)

 

For me this is simple. Pick your best 11, pick the best formation, and stick to it. Players at this level just aren’t good / intelligent enough to play in multiple systems and formations. They’re also trying to play a style of football that they aren’t good enough to play.
He makes substitutions at bizarre times that just seem to upset the balance /momentum of the team. He always says he makes them to win a game - I might be wrong but I would guess we’ve done the opposite and lost more points because of them
His methods of management unfortunately remind me of Steve Parkin who seemed out of his depth
He’s had 5 months with the players so to not know these things is poor
If you look at big val , he came in about4/5 games into the season and figures things out straight away
My prediction is hourihane will be manager by Christmas

 

It woukd help if he didn't keep changing formation. Pick the players in the formation he feels is the best fir to do the job and work on that. Its not schoolboy football we need!

 

Same ***** spouted different week. Blame the players pass the book getting boring now Darrell you have to take some responsibility for these performances.

 

If he can’t get the players to do the basics & they keep not performing as he expects, why not change it up and try some one else?
Doesn’t have to be wholesale changes but dropping someone sends a message out to the rest.

 

He's a fuckin first class c n t and I've encountered plenty of those unfortunately.

 

Ipswich got promotion from both League 1 and the Championship with the same 4-2-3-1 formation, but switching like for like. I do think that a good coach might see a threat which can be countered by a chanage in formation, but our changes don't seem to be countering such a threat.

Cannot ever remember a coach calling us their fans before. He's definitely feeling the pressure to suck up to the fans after the latest in a growing line of boos at games.

Imagine you were asked to row a boat, but given only one oar. Then when you just spin around in circles, folk label you a ‘wa nker’’, would that not be a tad harsh?

 

He took the job knowing the score, if he didn't he's naive beyond explanation and if that wasn't the case he should have jumped in protest by now.
But if we sack him what do we do? He must have been about 6th choice, whilst any manager is bound by our restrictive T&Cs we're always gonna be rejected by the best, who know how to do what our pretenders behind the scenes are playing at disastrously.

I actually agree with him on one point, how can those players be happy with their own awful lacklustre performances, in recent weeks.
Where they do seem to be getting worse if anything, certainly not better.
However, I know its unprofessional of him to do that, and its his and the coaches jobs to get them to play better.
And it raises the question as well, why are they under performing so poorly right now, when we know they are capable of much better. Do they have a problem with Clarke, has something happened or been said ?.
