I thought amongst his strengths was man management so he shouldn't have ' lost the dressing room'. However blaming the players will not end endear him to them or help their confidence.

In interviews I.ve heard hes blamed both the players and himself.Lets be right if a player can.t pass the ball 5 yard they deserve calling out.

What's the need to call players out in public? I always thought the best managers defended their players in public and behind closed doors went ro town on them.

And if the players don't know their role in a formation that's changing during the course of a match, then whose fault is that? Clarke strikes me as a manager who is still unsure what formation or tactics he wants to play so uses all the formations he can hoping to find a successful one, however it's not really worked so far.

If you.ve never seen a manager calling his players out you.ve not seen many games. He doesn't do it regularly but sometimes it might just be the trigger they need.

Allan Clarke taking our players down the pit, after we lost 7-0 at Reading, springs immediately to mind.

We really need to signpost it better. The number of our Gaffers that lose the dressing room. It’s just not good enough. Get on it FAB.

The bloke changes formation in games, he plays players out of position bet they don't know weather they are coming or going. He named the reserves against Huddersfield in the jpt, we didn't have a shot on goal then he goes on about the gulf in players... you named the team Clarke.

I think Clarke had better players than we have this season and could have played more attacking, entertaining football. I didn't listen to him post game as he could have sent a glass eye to sleep, like his football dull.

    Alex Ferguson:
"We have a semi-final on Wednesday night and a lot of these players today won't be playing. You have to view that performance in its right light. I am shocked by the performance because our preparation for the game was very good. But we never got going. The quality of the passing and whole performance was bad."

    Pep Guardiola:
"I don’t recognise my team; they (previously) had the passion and desire to run.

Never should have moved it to the north stand. Was easy when it was in the west, down the tunnel and it's there. Now it's buried somewhere in the away end. No wonder people keep losing it

I think it all stems from a lack of confidence in our back line. Midfield have become scared to drift up the pitch knowing if we lose possession we end up defending like the keystone cops. So they try these back and sideways passes until one of em becomes frustrated and decides to either lump it forward or play what should be an easy forward pass but when that happens, have lost concentration and focus. Result is we hand possession back and end up defending. Watters was actually a handful for players this season and looked to be really working his socks off, ends up injured. We have lost that work rate up front.

Add to that, the stick from the crowd, warranted or not, it's adding pressure on to them and it's getting harder with the results recently.

We are desperate for a clean sheet to start building that much needed confidence.

Finally, I don't know who is in charge of fitness coaching but we hit 70 mins and they are all blowing up.

My take on things, but I don't think he has lost the dressing room, he has made some odd changes but he is probably trying just to dig something out. A couple of wins and things could turn around quickly.

But these sideways and backwards passes have been happening with an alarming regularity ever since Khaled announced that "he" had dictated a change in playing style to attract more bids for players. I don't think it's because of a lack of confidence in our current defenders, I think it's a deliberate tactic enforced from someone behind the scenes of our club who has studied the data and come to the conclusion that defenders who make more successful passes are valued higher than those who lump it up the pitch regardless of the results.

The difference there is that them two were pretty much untouchable in their roles.

Fergie famously fell out with numerous players & forced them out - Keane, Stam, Beckham.

Guardiola has also forced many out including big personalities like Joe Hart & Yaya Toure.

Clarke’s been in the job 3 months & there’s very little enthusiasm for him or his football.

Not necessarily disagreeing with that but I was replying specifically to someone saying that the best managers don't criticise players in public. It's just not true as pretty much every top manager has publicly criticised their players
