He’s the one I see most potential in out of the academy players who’ve filtered into the first team. He’s shown more potential than Jalo for me.
Was just about to post this. Been impressed with him whenever he's played, I thought he should have got more minutes last season.
Physically better equipped than Jalo too. Didn’t look out of place up front v Man Utd u21s. Lad looks like he can finish.
20 sec for Yoganathan goal - (note packed stadium!!!) Iceland v Cymru tomorrow - Kieffer in the team.
Really undecided on Jalo. Looks too small in stature and easy to lean on and knock off the ball. Think he might fare better in Portuguese football.
Fair enough mate but for me he's always positive and trying to do the most difficult things which are running at players and trying to create goals, he never comes on and hides.
Oh I agree with you there. Just seems too easy for defenders to dominate physically right now. Not writing him off at all….
Josiah Dyer also came on as a 76th minute substitute for Montserrat v Bonaire in the Concacaf Nations League. Two ex-Reds Trent Carter-Rogers and Mylan Benjamin also played.
Didn't realise Benjamin left. Saw him a couple of times in the youth squad and he looked quite good - I still thought he was about 17/18 but he's 20 now
I definitely feel Yoganathan has taken less time to be around the first team, but I’m liking this seasons Jalo. Still very young and not the finished article, but looking very comfortable beating a man down our right side, whether it be cutting in or going to the line. I’ve never seen that from him before.
If we don't get a few players into the first team regularly out of this current crop then the staff need looking at.
