Sure the two draws at home and two defeats have deflated us all plus it has to be said performances have been poor. But the posts on this site are really depressing and so it's time for a change of outlook. By the Blackpool game we will turn up and give a good account of ourselves. Time for 'Battling' Barnsley to do just that, show some bottle, win every tackle, challenge for every ball and go into the attack with purpose. So let's show some belief and go out to win each game despite who the opposition are. COYReds!

    Humbug!!! :p

I would like nothing better than to see a win at Blackpool. Hopefully we will have deserved it, but a wins a win, and much needed for Clarke and fans alike.

I think the best way to go there with an open mind is knock footy on the head for a week. :)

Fingers crossed, the performances at the moment couldn't get any worse, so in that respect we should at least see something better - the result on the other hand will be a tough one to get all 3 points, but we've all experienced time & time again form & performances like this and it can just turn!

Might have a couple of quid on promotion - what could go wrong?

Be no optimism while these lot are in charge, run a club like a none league club that’s where we’ll end up !
Keep hearing the usual club apologists saying people aren’t lining up on Grove street to buy us, you know what they aren’t but we aren’t up for sale so wee won’t know! Yes Reading haven’t been taken over after all this time but we aren’t in the pickle they are.

I am struggling a bit to recall an accomplished performance in the league from us for 90 minutes. Genuinely.

Bolton away in the play offs was good. Bristol home in the league this season, but we even managed to balls that up, and were suspect at the back…..answers on a postcard please.

Why do you think Reading are in a pickle?

I fully endorse this ,and there's no doubt the fans will do this.
I think you need to put this to the players.

Serious question since you’re implying that if the current owners don’t sell up we will drop into non league.

You asked why Reading were in a pickle did you not ?
If being serious you’ve probably been on the moon or summat the last few years.

And you didn’t answer my question of why they are in a pickle. I haven’t been on the moon thanks.

It’s Because they’ve an owner who is crippling them, they have been protesting for the last 2 seasons. If you search tennis ball protests, I think they even had a game abandoned. lots of failed take overs, Wycombe were going to buy their training ground but the league vetoed it.
Find it very strange that you aren’t aware given they were deducted points last season ( possibly the one before too).

After blowing Crawley away and following it up with a good winning home performance against Bristol Rovers (including stunning Keillor-Dunn debut), I became over optimistic. I still believe we have a squad more than capable of a top 6 challenge but we need to get our **** together pretty quickly now to avoid killing all remaining optimism.
