    He’s a star !
Good to see Gower back on Sky last week after him and Botham were effectively sacked a few years ago.
Was it just temporary or is he back on contract ?

David Gower is loved in Pakistan. Whenever Cricket is on the box there he's on commentary. He's always on their T20 league the PSL. It starts on April 17th next year and he will likely be on commentary and on Sky Cricket.

Modern cricket is sadly like every other major sport, largely ruined.

Don't most of us lol. Saying that (born dec. 56) the 60's and 70's were a great time for sport and music. And safe to play on the streets lol. Wouldn't swap it for owt.

He has a point. Too much exposure can lead to boredom. As in football, all I'm interested in is Barnsley. One thing with cricket is the entertainment value has increased. I do love watching yorkshire and england in all forms. Not interested in others.

So for the second test it will be played on the same strip in Multan. They have watered it and used big fans to dry it so expect less runs and more spin. Pakistan need less roads.

Babar is being dropped because he's not scored an half century since something like December.

Stokes should be back in our 11.

Who would you think he’d replace ?
Surely he can’t be relied on to bowl ?

I think he must be able to bowl. I get the impression now he's back to being all rounder he won't play unless he can bowl. Pre op I think he'd have played the first test just as a batter.

Second test underway, pitch looks a bit more helpful than last week’s version but hardly a minefield from what we’ve seen so far. Even first session, hopefully we can see some reverse swing come into play.

Now there’s something that doesn’t often happen … Durham have more players than Yorkshire !
