I've never counted friendlies myself. Of the current 92 I've Salford, Bromley,AFC Wimbledon, Barrow,Newport. Then the 4 brand new stadium's in London.
In "proper 92 club" rules I need: Bromley AFC Wimbledon Barrow Newport Stevenage Brentford Morecambe Rotherham
Snap Andy, uncanny that. except I've done Afc Wimbledon when we played em at Kingstonian. not the new plough lane. But does that count as the original ground. Not as in new stadium. ?. Its a bit of a minefield that. Wimbledon fc Old plough lane. Wimbledon fc Selhurst park. Mk Don's Hockey stadium Mk Don's new Afc Wimbledon Kingstonian Afc Wimbledon New plough lane. Done all bar the last. As for Salford mate I must have been on Holiday for the friendly anyhow. But if you went mate it's allowed in the rules. Watching a match at a ground before the team was in the football league does count. Eg, it counts if you went to Salford whilst they were a non-League club Trouble is . I reckon I will never qualify for the official 92 based on the fact you have to have been to a game at all CURRENT grounds.. Unless by some miracle we play em all int cup over next few yrs.
Does anyone know of the 92 are that are in new stadiums. Post 1970 say. Only aware of these. . Haven't been to new. Done old. Arsenal Spurs Brentford AFC wimbledon Have besides the old. Southampton Sunderland Brighton Man city Boro Swansea Cardiff Oxford (not sure if just redeveloped) Stoke Millwall (not the old) Coventry (at Northampton as well) Huddersfield Blackpool Rotherham x3 (inc don valley) Bolton Wigan Reading Northampton (not sure if just redeveloped) Donny Walsall Chesterfield Mk Don's.
Ive just checked mine and I’ve done 79 of the current 92, all watching Barnsley apart from Salford where we went as neutrals v Forest Green. If you add all the clubs that have moved, gone bust or out of the league, or were non league when we played them, it’s 123. Again, all watching the reds barring Yorks new ground we visited as neutrals v Wrexham last season.
