    They would be wrong though as we are a top 6 (based on average attendances) draw and Barnsley is a cracking town.

    Yet it’s a team that that have played not that long ago. Honestly they will just be as underwhelmed as you I’m sure.

    In fact. From their forum.

    know it's an home draw but very dull draw, a league club we played so many times over recent years. Love the FA Cup and while it is not the same as years ago, for me love to see us get a few non league clubs and go as far as possible while earning decent money along the way, massive money to be had if you reach the 3rd round. Saying this we have a chance against these but need to put on the best performance to get through so far.

    Didn't see any fighting last season. Was a good trip.

    That said, I doubt I'll bother going given the current malaise around everything. Not sure there's much point travelling to see us be crap and probably lose to a team in the league before.

    Certainly closer to the “worse” end of the scale but at least it’s not Bolton for the 4,360th time in the last couple of years or away at Birmingham for a hammering. You’d also think we’d have a better chance to win compared to Peterborough or Blackpool (naming those 2 because they were still left near the end).
