It is very sad but i Don't think that fame game is all it's cracked up to be unfortunately, be careful of what you wish for.
Sad. Only 31. Crammed more into the last 15 years than most manage in a lifetime. But boy, at what a cost. Got a gutted daughter out in Oz right now processing this; a big part of her childhood. RIP young man.
He's been absolutely hammered on social media for the last week or so after his ex girlfriend made allegations against him. One direction fans have been making videos showing anything and everything they could to show that he wasn't liked in the group and that he was a problem
Louis Tomlinson is from Donny. Liam was from Wolverhampton. Seems he’d been a troubled soul for a while, erratic in behaviour. Such a waste, no age, and leaving a little seven year old behind too. Very sad. I have a gutted teenager this morning; she was too young to appreciate them at the time but loves the music now and was hoping for a reunion tour in coming years. Just feel so sad for his parents, and for Cheryl, who has to have the most awful conversation with her little lad this morning.
Very sad. Huge part of my kids’ growing up. Took them to see One Direction twice, and for all the “manufactured boy-band” status, they were brilliant both times. The speed in which it was announced / hit social media last night worries me. I can’t imagine his loved ones found out much before anyone else, if at all. Incredibly distressing.
Another sad waste of a young life. A gent who's struggled it seems for a while and not received the help he needed.
Seems to be the way now. It was announced that Alex Salmond had died & he had only tweeted 3 hours earlier. I guess it’s hard to keep things underwrap
To be fair, it’s only right to mention that one of her allegations was that he would constantly threaten suicide and tell her and her family and friends that it would all be her fault to manipulate her. She had to issue a cease and desist order against him last week because he was constantly harassing her and people she knew. I’m making no comment about him or his behaviour but adding context as she is getting it from all angles from people blaming her for his death. No doubt people’s actions towards him did contribute, in the same way that people posting things about her now could easily contribute to hers if she doesn’t get support.
I am not going to comment on what may or may not have happened leading up to the incident as its not the time or place and frankly, I have no clue, all speculation. The only thing that strikes me is that extreme fame and wealth is all too often a complete curse. I expect that no-one teaches them how to deal with it, it's just thrust upon them, and it must often be hard to bear. He apparently suffered from a lack of purpose when 1D took a hiatus which I can understand. Combine that with having so much money that it becomes almost meaningless, and being known the world over and not being able to sneeze without someone reporting on it, and it must be insufferable. I wouldn't want any of it.
