If Bernardo wasn't interfering, then Shankley law applies.

He shouldn't be on the pitch

Penistone lads love an injury time winner....

Nothing wrong with the goal. Wolves whinging over nothing.

When VAR was checked and it was given, nobody celebrated as OTT as Grealish, wonder why....

The keepers first 2 steps were with Bernardo. Sneaky, but he then had to readjust to face Stones.

All in the blink of an eye

Keeper should have gone in front of him. Clutching at straws asking got that to be overturned.

100% good goal criminal to disallow that one.

    Can’t disallow that.

He’s not offside until Stones heads the ball - at the time they were grappling (if you want to call it that) the ball is just coming in from a corner so he’s onside at that point.

When stones heads the ball, he’s then in an offside position - and whilst you can argue he maybe wasn’t properly set, Silva is two yards to Sa’s right, the ball comes at him from front left, and he’s neither in his way nor in his eye line. There is no offside offence there. He hasn’t interfered with the keeper in any way at any time he was in an offside position - as that only happens at the point the ball was headed.

He was interfering - but not when he was offside. See above.

Should have just let him stand in front of him instead of wrestle him out the way - had he been in his eye line it gets disallowed.

Can’t blame Sa for clearing him out though.

Unfortunate for Wolves but the goal was legitimate, you can’t rule goals out for him being in an offside position after he’s finished interfering.

Hardly. Last season wolves got 2 wrong decisions in their favour against City. Absolutely nothing wrong with todays goal

Never offside, city player was not in the keeper's eyeliner throughout.

The disappointment for me was that they even asked the ref to review it, talk about putting unnecessary pressure on him. The var should have made that decision without getting ref involved.

VAR wasn't intervening to disallow the goal though. He intervened because the liner had flagged, so the original onfield decision was offside. Therefore VAR rightly invited the referee to reconsider and award the goal, which was clearly the right decision.

VAR should be able to look at that and make the decision that it wasn't offside, absolutely no need to have the ref review it on pitch monitor, just piles pressure on him.
