But that's shirts though. Ask 100 reds fans if they want shirts to remain red 100 would say yes don't mess with them. Ask about shorts I doubt that many would have a strong opinion.

I agree and you were right tradition is important. I think the feeling has been communicated to the club over this change by the way. Weve previously raised it with the CEO. This was a fashion decision though otherwise we wouldnt also have an off white kit.

    Aren’t we financed by billionaires?

I love the optimism mate but I’m yet to be convinced.

They have one thing to get right and that’s the stuff on the green square with white lines. The rest comes with it.

I don’t wanna know the ins and outs of things.

I go to watch them perform on the pitch.

I don’t go to watch a balance sheet.

At any point hdid anyone call out the club on this blatant lie they appear to have doubled down on? It seems really unfair that Julie (and in turn whoever has doubled down on it) can just lie and blame the women's team for something that is so clearly untrue.

What about asking those 100 if we should play in all red or red and white?

169 reds fans were asked on here and 116 of them wanted white shorts. Only 49 weren't bothered

What I still don't get ........ and probably never will

The question at the last forum about 'why can't we spend the £10m Mads, Kitching, Collins' Dosh. It was skirted around by being explained as being paid in installments.

    Ok.

So let's lower it to a more realistic £8m. And let's say the combined fees come in over 3 years.

That's £222,222 income per month. Surely that covers our clubs wage bill for a month?

Why is so much needed to be pumped in?

They didnt really get into the weeds of it tonight but we have made this point. You’d hope a lesson similar to Ben Mansford’s change of badge one will be learnt on this.

If it's an issue for the women's team then just change the women's shorts and leave the blokes playing in Red and White. The women's team haven't been around long enough to have traditions that means something to there supporters the blokes team has. Bring back the white shorts for the blokes home kit.

Think our wage bill is £5.6m per year, it's about 5/6th highest in the Division equivalent to circa 460k a month,

Did you watch the clip? It costs 17m a season to run the club. Revenue is half that. I dont think weve sold 8m a season for the last 4 seasons and we do also shell out for some players.

What have the board done to be pro active in bringing in extra revenue instead of having to pump in their own cash? Have they done an audit of the club to see where cash could be saved? Man United have one of the richest men in Britain as a part owner and even he has done that to save the club cash.

I’m not sure how Brexit can be a factor. I watched the Man City v Wolves game the other day and it seemed to me that most of the players were from anywhere other than Europe.

Because players who play at the top level can get a visa to the UK. Those who play in the leagues we are fishing in cannot

I think that is the point of the tough decisions that were being alluded to

I find it hard to have sympathy with the board when they’re spending money recklessly. How many central midfielders are on the books currently?

It was a board decision to go out & sign Matty Craig & Hourihane who both play the same position as Connell.

It was a board decision to sign Kelechi Nwakali when no fans were calling for a 10th central midfielder to be signed.

It was a board decision to go with 3 first team goalkeepers this season.

It was a board decision to employ extra first team coaching staff.

I would have more sympathy for them if they were making intelligent decisions & trying to build a balanced squad with the required number of players for each position.

Instead they build a bloated, unbalanced squad & then complain they’re having to pump extra money in to keep the club afloat.

Didn’t they spend 750k on DKD too? That’s a choice by the board. I don’t want my club paying them kind of fees if we can’t afford them.

If they had their own house in order & were still having to pump money in then I’d have plenty of sympathy for them but until that’s the case then I’m afraid they need to do better.

Highs outweigh the lows in football………..always have and always will.

We all crave success but let’s not forget these owners have imo rescued us from the 2 berks in messers Lee and Conway, things could’ve been all so different had they still been at the club…….

But wasn’t the point that the Premier League clubs are scouting increasingly in this country? Or did I misunderstand?
