    It certainly does, but Hull City doesn't exist technically where as Kingston upon Hull does, be the equivalent of Newcastle United being called Tyne United:D

    It might not be now, but the club was formed by the workers that built the Crystal Palace Great Exhibition Centre. Hence the name.
