The first time I heard the 'Que sera, sera' Wembley song was vs Birmingham in the Play Off second leg at Oakwell in 2000. I was convinced it was "Kiss your arse hurrah, whatever will be will be, we're going to Wem-ber-lee, kiss your arse hurrah". Works to this day if you ask me.
Not me. But a lad I went to nipper school with always sung the famous Bee Gees song…… Hah, hah, hah, hah, stick in the eye, stick in the eye……
Go and get stuffed Misheard chorus from "When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going" by Billy Ocean
I’ve seen people on here put “People say the football’s boring” in the Ronnie Glavin song. I’m sure at the time it was “We don’t think the football’s boring, Ronnie Glavin’s always scoring”
I used to think Madness were having a pop at folk who live in Germany "No commitment, you're an embarrassment Yes, an embarrassment, living in Dortmund"
In terms of football songs I always thought the 's*** on the b**tards below' song was actually 's*** on the b**tards pillow' I always thought it was a strange thing to sing as a kid
Bat out of hell I always sang Cilla Black fan on bike didn’t realise it was actually silver black phantom bike
Apart from Madona singing about "Anna Friel" (Ray of Light), and the Stranglers singing about "Gordon Brown" (Golden Brown), and the Killers singing about "his eagle eyes" (Mr Brightside), all the other occurrences are the singers getting the lyrics wrong and I'm right...!
