Great achievement, fantastic pro, really good for us in his time, lovely touch from Thomas Frank https://x.com/BrentfordFC/status/1850998472561819986?s=19
They underpaid for him that's for sure. One of the biggest bargains we've ever given another club. Nice to get a mention off a top manager who's done an excellent job himself.
Truly down to earth. Humble. A real family man. And massively keen on education and bettering himself. One of the nicest lads I had the opportunity to work with and an exceptional footballer too. As for Frank - he was such a gracious loser the night we stayed up at Griffin Park. Top drawer. They all were to be honest. Great people at Brentford.
One of the best defenders I've seen in a barnsley shirt. Him and de zeew top 2. Was miles too good for league one that season. Sold too cheap.
Different type of player completely, but you would have to say yes based on the level Pinnock has gone on to play at consistently, same with John Stones really.
Well that's another story, but true he got in the side briefly around new year I think pne at home and then Sunderland away due to injurys to other defenders got motm v Preston scored away at Sunderland then got injured and hecky went to Leeds. But he was 4th choice behind captain angus mcdonald liam lindsay and Adam jackson(who hecky took to scotland with hibs)
Doubt he's going anywhere isn't he over 30 now? Should have got more than 2.5 million for him to start with though.
Classy player, absolutely oozes it in everything he does (in that languid "I've got loads of time" style of his). Lovely touch from Frank, who does come across as a good un.
His oldest lad is in the Bees’ youth system too, and thought to be very good. Doesn’t seem that long since he was walking out the Oakwell tunnel with him in his arms.
