Nautical miles is a nice addition. Shouldn't try swimming it though mate, particularly the last stretch up the Dearne.
Over 20 in Headingley. Night time traffic also very bad for early midweek kick offs. I only got back from Amsterdam late last night & have had a busy day today, so I'll watch on TV tonight, as it is a meaningless fixture, other than giving the young lads & fringe players a run out. It's 25.5 miles direct.
49 miles and I struggle to attend regularly these days. In my previous lives though I’ve been 212 miles away (Salisbury), 160 (Princes Risborough) and 150 (Gloucester) plus other locations below 100 one way. It didn’t really bother me though making those trips, when I could. Must be an age thing!
80 miles. It has been for over 30 years. Most of those years have been a pleasure to attend (not always because of the football!). But at the moment, it’s a tough ask. Will be down on Friday. More in hope than expectation.
Stairfoot so a mile or so. If I lived in Grove St they would have had to drag me kicking and screaming the last 18 months or so
Thanks for the 'Heads Up'. God knows what i was thinking off. However, with our home form, it still sounds quite an attractive proposition to sneak into Oakwell, sit in my seat and watch time go by for a couple of hours - without the usual stress of watching the 1st team amble round the pitch.
