Rosco (no e on the end). Lost in the mists of time, was called that way back in the seventies by, I think my mate Ian. We used to play tennis on the streets and I had a good serve, there was a tennis player with a big serve called Roscoe Tanner at the time, possibly that. Nothing to do with Roscoe P Coltrane from Dukes of Hazard, who came a few years later but whom eveyone picked up on. I hated him, he was corrupt and had a stupid dog. Everyone called me Rosco, even teachers or friends calling for me at home.
Mine is also fairly obvious but by a circuitous route having left the area at eight years old . I had used it for years until I realised it was a Barnsley/Yorkshire saying . Also I happened upon a shop in Doncaster called How Much so when I joined the BBS forum it all fell into place and was an obvious choice .
