I agree. A lot of "normal" Americans, minorities included, are dangerously thick and gullible. I sincerely hope everyone that was stupid, selfish or hateful enough to vote for him gets exactly what they deserve.
Well at least the USA have made themselves look even dumber than us appointing Boris Johnson. Trump due to be sentanced following the election for falsifying business transactions can’t be many places that vote in a criminal. [emoji]
I think you’ve miss understood mate, it’s nothing to do with who gets in, it’s predominantly to do with Trump, have you looked back on his history and the trail of destruction he’s left behind.
I doubt that sentencing is going to be happening. He has the Supreme Court to assist him, even before he's sworn in. Afterwards, he will break new records for pardons.
Two absolutely horrible candidates for totally different reasons. The democrats have been totally shambolic the last couple of years and this campaign was farcical. Harris was an awful choice and honestly gets away with a lot by being a black woman. She lost because she has been unlikeable pretty much since Biden was elected, and the last minute PR hash of making her ‘brat’ was pathetic. God help us with the orange lunatic in charge here. Hopefully prices do go down and the stock market is like his last term and small caps rally so I can make some $$, they would probably be the only (selfish) perks. The correct answer for this election, like the UK election was that both candidates were terrible and if you keep blindly voting for one of two parties you consent to a system that will forever give you the choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, and you can’t really complain things only get worse.
Well, he claimed he'd stop Ukraine and Israel wars in a day. Let's see how that goes shall we... I do think RFK, Rogan, Musk, Gabbard, Levi and Dana White had a big impact, especially RFK & Rogan. I love where RFK stands on food and how against big corporation's he is in regards to stuff like that, but his vaccine stance at times is mental. Fair enough go into research the covid jab because alot of misinformation got spread around and a lot of people got hurt. Id still recommend taking it but I can now understand why a lot of young ones feel like they'd be better off without - but don't condemn all vaccines. I read earlier Idaho banned all covid shots, why?? Its whoevers right to get one if they feel its worth it, between them nd their doctor. Anyway, my point being, I think it was a huge mistake from Kamala and the dems to shove him aside. He was open and willing to side with them for months. I find it utterly bizarre that they gladly accepted and bragged about Cheneys endorsements but not RFK. Get him to endorse you and then give him minimal involvement, so I think they got it totally wrong imo. I still think Shapiro, Obama, Newsom and Whitmer would all have wiped the floor with Trump. And I certainly think it was a mistake not taking Shapiro as VP. Would have guaranteed Philly
It doesn't matter what I think or anyone else think's but what the American voters think that's what counts.
It was forced on them though to an extent....Biden hung on for so long there wasn't really time for a leadership contest.
Your spot on, i love watching his speeches but love it even more when people tek the piss out of him. he's survived 2 assassination attempts, 2 impeachments, 4 indictments with a 100 charges an 34 felony charges an still runs for President, is it him or the system that's foooked, a politician in the uk gets sacked for calling a cat a dog.
It still comes down to a country of such massive size not being to come up with 2 better candidates than Biden and Trump.
We can now all look forward to ‘experts’ in this country telling us why Americans are idiots for voting for Trump from a nation that voted Brexit, that idolises idiots like Johnson & Farage & that packs out arenas to hear Alistair Campbell & Rory Stewart speak. Do me a favour.
It's almost as though the people saying they're idiots maybe aren't the ones who voted for Brexit and idolise farage or something isn't it
Sadly Boris demonstrated the days of being sacked for calling a cat a dog are long past in the UK. I think watching Trump's recent performance at speeches and rallies that he won't see 4 years out. He's shown some pretty bizarre behaviour in full view recently..
