Maybe they didn’t vote for Farage but they platformed him & appeared alongside him & put him in a much stronger position to get brexit done. And then you’ve got people like Boris & Alistair Campbell who have many friends in the media & amongst journalists.

I would have begrudgingly voted for Harris, mate. But I think there's little doubt RFK shifted votes to Trumps side, I honestly do.
What an utterly depressing state of affairs. Looking like they could retake the Senate too. I’m genuinely worried about what’s coming next, under a Trump administration that has both the Senate and the House. Palestine and Ukraine must be terrified right now, among many other sections of society.
Senate was always going to go republican just because of which seats were up for grabs this year. The house is going to be very close. Probably 1 or 2 seats in it either way. That would be the only saving grace, but i doubt it’ll matter anyway with a partisan supreme court in his pocket.
They have won the senate already with 51 seats. Projections suggesting the 8 states left could all largely go republican.
Yes. They're favourites for house too right? 5 have flipped to Trump, 2 flipped to Harris. It'll be close but its already disastrous. If they win the trio it'll be unthinkable.
All the usual like rise in people crossing the border without permission, rise in food prices, rise in energy prices. Kept hold of Sleepy Joe for far too long, went for the easy option to replace him and the world is far more dangerous because of Ukraine/Russia, Iran, North Korea and Israel/Gaza. It's ever so telling that he's going to win with the biggest number of votes ever and be only the second president to ever have two terms not consectively.
I don't think you can blame him for inflation (which has been brought under control) or the examples you give of conflict.
They already have the house, so given the sizeable swings, I can't see it being anything else but republican. As I said in another post, presidency, house, Senate, supreme court 6-3, likely to be 7-2 during his term). I can't think of a worse person to be giving complete unchecked power.
Petrol prices have typically fallen 10-20% in the USA in the last year (some states more than others). Petrol is actually cheaper now than in 2020 when Trump was in charge. The bipartisan border bill that Biden brought in - which gave the Republicans everything they wanted - was rejected by the Republicans on Trumps orders so that he could campaign on it. Actually deporting all the illegal immigrant workers would likely increase the cost of foods significantly as many are employed at below minimum wage by farmers and food processing companies. Vance. Who will take over in a couple of years.
I think there were a few serious Democrat candidates who swerved this election cycle on purpose. They'd done the numbers, realised that they were unlikely to win given the approval ratings and stayed quiet. Better to run in 2028 on the back of 4 years of trump.
Again though, they've shot themselves in the foot by turning over all those executive orders from Trump and not handling the situation well, they had control of both the senate and the house for the first 18-24 months of Bidens term. Now I think its come back to haunt them. This election genuinely should not even have been close - the dems ****** it severely. It should have been a clean sweep and yet the worst thing imaginable has happened.
That’s a bit of a stretch. How can it get any worse? They’re allowing Isreal to burn people alive, sniper children in the head, starve the population, tell people to go to ‘safe spots’ and then murdering them. How can it get worse? It might continue to be as bad but it’s hard to fathom how it can get any worse
