https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/31508642/boyzone-westlife-chorley-fc-new-wrexham/ Good luck to them trying to be the next Wrexham or at least Salford in using celebrities to shoot up the leagues. They are building slowly with a ten year plan.
Good beer in Chorley. They’ll be in League 1 playing against us after we’re still yet to win at home.
I once met a lass from Chorley in Tenerife. I'll leave it at that, it's a long story not fit for a football forum.
Good luck to them, I think there's both a limit and a lifespan to this type of model. The novelty factor has definitely wore off, whilst it was somewhat different and interesting with the "Welcome to Wrexham" I got half way through season 2 and lost interest, not through bitterness towards them or anything you just know the results and how things panned out. I just think they'll hit a ceiling, my guess is championship level, where shirt sales slow, viewing figures dip and the amount of money needed to compete against teams with 30 million wage bills might be too much for Renolds and McElhenney to stomach.
She said that her friend's Robert Morely A large rotund man Who said "Yes I can" But left her feeling quite sorely.
Wrexham have just got another investor, the Allyn family, who are worth a couple of billion. I think Wrexham may well spend their way to the PL.
Didn't know that, your probably right, does show though without that investment they probably couldn't go further
