Well we never even had the opportunity to find out since you are gaslighting me it seems like. I would genuinely have a debate with you but you seem set in your ways and you seem to think I am 100% set in mine. Well I am not 100% set in mine which is why I am trying to have a discussion. Thanks for the replies though I guess

You're welcome. Though for gaslighting, rather than me, there's one very obvious example of that.

Wasn’t there a bi partisan plan put forward to improve the situation on the border? Trump made sure it didn’t happen because he couldn’t take credit for it.

In 2016-2020 time-frame? Not sure to be honest

Trump couldn't have had anything to do with what has happened the last 4 years though I do know that

No, In the last 6 to 12 months. It was agreed and all set to go, but Trump told his people to vote against it, because it is one of the biggest things he campaigned on.

If Harris had won, my personal opinion is that we would be one step closer to a full scale nuclear war as the funding will just push Putin to extremes.

If Trump does as he says and ends the wear in Ukraine before he officially takes up office then that has to be a good thing. Even if it is at the expense of part of Ukraine remaining in Russian control. It's a hard pill to swallow but that to me is better than watching thousands more people die which will happen if the US and allies keep on funding more weapons into the region. I 100% do not believe the rhetoric that Putin would then invade a NATO member state like Poland.

You are probably right but I think this is more political warfare at this point. Harris did this last 6 months near the election to swing some votes not out of her own views or ideas. They had 4 years to sort it out in reality.

But either way definitely a **** show all around

Tariffs are likely to increase prices throughout the economy and result in a trade war. When Trump raised tariffs against Chinese manufacturing in 2018, the retaliatory tariffs on soybeans nearly wiped out that entire farming sector and it cost $16billion to bailout the affected farmers and cost 250,000 jobs.

And hitting China with tariffs would mean factories move to other developing economies - such as Vietnam, Indonesia or India - because staff there are still considerably cheaper than American wages. Unless they are going to put tariffs on every country and go full isolationist, which would cost export jobs.

So short term pain (as predicted by Musk last week) for long term pain.

If you knew what it represented then you'd see that actually yes, it is. But of course you don't know, because if you did you wouldn't have posted what you did.

The fact you even referred to Poland at the end is *chef's kiss*

Trump has had 4 years of looking over the neighbours fence and saying he could have got straighter lines in the lawn, had better flower beds and even got the washing to dry more quickly.

Come January, it’ll be time to get his gardening gear out and show how it’s done. The whole street will be watching and waiting for him to run over his foot with the mower.

Time to talk the talk and walk the walk.

Those are good point. I think surely he can only use tariffs with certain sectors, like cars for example, and would have to do it with all countries. Get Toyota, Honda, etc to build more factories in places like Detroit where they have been struggling for ages now

Your post is nothing short of disgusting, think you should have a word with yourself.

I mentioned Poland because that is what is being banded about by vast swathes of people, that Putin won't stop at Ukraine and will look to invade Poland or Estonia next. So take your chefs kiss and grow up.
