Curran is the most overrated cricketer in the world. In the old days they’d call him a bits and pieces cricketer.

Nowhere near our first team I know but this series has been a proper humbling.

The selection of the eleven was skewed even with the weakened squad. Two comfortable defeats and a win achieved essentially by one man’s fantastic innings.

There’s a hell of a lot for McCullum to do - I’m not full of praise for what has been achieved in the test team though his approach and methods seems well suited to the white ball teams.

 

We will never be any good if the players never play List A cricket domestically.
