    I apologise.

I should have been more specific and said Xenophobic rather than racist - but judging from your response, it probably doesn't matter.

I'd quote other examples of him - but there's a few in the post just above mine that has given plenty of examples from trusted sources.

Trump has done positive things for the American Public - I don't dispute that. But to say that he isn't a racist, it's a strange hill to die on.

One issue I have with this view is that "poor" people have no agency, they can only be helped out of poverty by throwing money at them. Many people get themselves out of poverty, but unfortunately it mostly involves hard work. I like the quote "people are usually jealous of what I've got, but not jealous of how I got it". I don't know what the answer is because since the industrial revolution we have created a underclass of people, we've tried starving them to work and we've tried subsidising them to work - some people just don't want to work.

Fair enough on the NY times one some of those comments are grim from the 80's and so. The newer comments definitely have more context to them I can imagine, for example- "At a June 2016 campaign rally, Trump pointed to one attendee and said: “Oh, look at my African-American over here. Look at him.” I watched the video and wasn't nearly the context that this quote would show.

Joe Biden has a similar past though but I've never heard him brandished as a racist-

Not that black or white is it. Like I said above those older comments are definitely xenophobic and classless. Some of the context/videos of those newer comments would provide a different story so not sure what to take from those until I can properly see all the context.

Do you accept Joe Biden is a racist on the same logic?

Yes I accept that (although I didn't believe we were talking about Biden)

See its easy, go on you can do it. Musk won't hunt you down if you admit Trump is racist.

I couldn't care less about Joe Biden. He wasn't on the ballot choices you had. The point you created was to counter that Trump was a racist. You asked for evidence. You've got evidence. You still can't say aloud that he is a racist despite saying 'fair enough' on the NY times ones that I literally searched for and found in a minute. If its fair enough, you are agreeing his comments are racist, ergo... trump is racist. It really is, as you say... That black and white.

As I said yesterday, debate is futile. You know what he is, everyone does, but inspite of that, you've voted for him and on this point, you're using whataboutery to try and deframe the point. That's your choice and i'm fine with that. It doesn't change what Trump is. It doesn't change your vote and it doesn't change my opinion.

I mean you've caveated, danced on a pinhead and whatabouteried to death while drawing false equivalence, but you've admitted he is a racist and you voted for him knowing that. We got there eventually. Thank you.

I literally outlined why I voted for him in my first post and no I am not convinced he is racist so no we didn't get there eventually. I've responded to all your attacks on me and my character but you still haven't argued any of my points on my initial post.

Well you did admit he was racist, what you're actually saying is you won't accept he is racist despite all evidence. We did get there, however much you'd like that not to be the case.

Yes he is as racist as Biden or Obama which I am sure you don't have the same anger towards. I would still take the hurty words man over the open-border warmongerer inflation party. Lesser of 2 evils as I said in my initial post

I don't have anger to any of them, Trump included. I've simply given you the evidence you asked for to show Trump is racist, and all the other things he is. I just find it odd that you can't say the things he clearly is. By all means, inspite of all those flaws and illegal and immoral acts, say you still think he's a better option. But to deny what he is and has proven to be is really strange. But hey, its probably not surprising.

Just out of interest, do you think Nigel Farage is racist?
