Well I didn't look at his win record, but depending on what they were expecting, he might (I say might) have taken them nearer towards mid table. What were the Cardiff comments then, I'm guessing that was a serious own-goal he scored there ?.
He said he'd be happy to lose to them twice if he got promotion, but that came on the back of a defeat to Bristol city and when they were looking nowhere near promotion. They then proceeded to lose the match 2 -0!
Aye. Which in principle is fine. But when youre struggling like mad, youre probably better off keeping it to yourself. I remember the outrage and I, being a petty man, I enjoyed it for a moment...
Duffs Huddersfield getting beat by bottom side Crawley. And on ex barnsley managers heckys pne getting beat by bottom side pompey in the championship at halftime
Hey normally I'd also go along with that, about accepting losing to our big local rivals in a season. As long as it meant something though at the end of it, like Promotion or at least winning the Pee Pot Trophy, etc!. Micky doesn't seem to know though does he, when to keep shtumm, and what to say (especially when the results aren't backing up such comments).
