Another failure here! However, I'm in Lisbon rather than Blackpool, so I can't say I'm particularly upset.
Got it on the 6th guess. As above didn’t think I could make a word with what I had left then I remembered Americans can’t spell properly.
Unfortunately I had the middle letter left to find after 3, so there were a lot of possibilities. To be honest the actual answer wasn't even on my radar.
I’d got 1 and 3 to find, but I’d already eliminated practically everything else it could have been to fill the two spaces.
One of the reasons I failed was I didn't think about the American spelling but even with my last guess I could think of 3 possible correctly spelled words so I had no chance I guess
I got it on the 6th go. Just had the middle letter to get on the 4th go, was a bit flummoxed when I got to 6th go as I couldn't think of a word it could be with the letters I had left, until I remembered it was a NYT Wordle!
5 as well, never used the word but the last letter was the only one that would fit and I had to look up what it meant after I'd guessed it.
Generational, My mum and aunts would use it on trips to hairdressers and suchlike. Not come across it since they passed.
I don't do wordle or usually read this thread but did today for some reason and was intrigued. It's a word I know. In fact, if you're attempting to make your hair bigger than it is, say you're in a hair metal band, I wouldn't know a different word to use. Hang on, just need to ***** up my hair.
