https://www.thewrexhaminsider.com/n...y-attacking-stats-may-concern-phil-parkinson/ A good article on a Wrexham website shows how on key attacking attributes like shots on target, touches in the opposition box, and corners, we do very well. It seems to be clicking for us at the other end of the pitch
It's interesting to see those stats and you can see that we must be doing something right somewhere, but there is only one stat that really matters, points earned. We're in 4th, but how many points have we lost from a winning position?
https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/a...-piece-kings-top-travellers-and-niche-records Some good stats there too. I particularly like that around a third of our goals have come from set pieces, because in recent seasons we haven't been too good with them.
Don’t know the answer but someone posted a link on another post that showed we would be top if a game ended on 75 minutes so must bet a few.
The home points dropped is the main thing Mansfield, Northampton, Stockport, Wycombe and Charlton were all points thrown away. We weren't exactly terrible in any of those games barring 25 mins at the beginning of the Mansfield game and the last twenty v Northampton. Instead of bad halves we're having flat spells that the opposition are punishing. If it wasn't for Killips save we'd have been punished for one such spell last Friday v Rotherham. A performance in the main I was really impressed with.
