Should still sell out despite not allowing people to have a physical ticket, on top of it being on Sky Sports Plus.
Dump of a ground horrible place to watch football and not easy to get in or out by car or coach - not sure I would fancy a 2hr each way trip from tarn to watch us get nowt from the ref/sky media love in on a school night.
"There will be a £1 per transaction booking fee for tickets for collection and there will be a £2 per transaction postage fee for tickets purchased to be posted" Site says there's no physical tickets, digital only, but then says there's a £2 fee for postage? And......how come some away matches have the facility for digital tickets and others (Cambridge) don't? Is it down to the home club not doing them? I'd much rather not have to wonder whether they'll turn up via the Postie or wonder if they'll be at Cambridge when I get there.
Looking forward to visiting a new ground, but the omens aren’t good. We’ve never won there and they’ve never won at Oakwell.
Been once for a 0-0 draw back in early 80s. Looking forward to going to this one. Get what you say but jinxes are there to be broken. It seemed like we’d never win at QPR but we did eventually.
Tickets are on general sale now btw got mine my closest Barnsley game of the season [emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji6]]
I was at that one.. seem to recall we walked into a pub after alighting from the coach and there were quite a few locals in there. Not one aged under 50... they all spoke in Welsh and were seemingly asking us questions and laughing lol
Aye that’s true mate. Always wondered if we’d have done as well as we did over that period under normal circumstances.
I lived near Wrexham and don't think I ever heard Welsh being spoken in the pubs. That might have been a reflection of the pubs I was drinking in. Here in Aberystwyth it is spoken in plenty of places, but still you will not often hear Welsh it in most pubs in town. But there are pubs you definitely will. Any road. we have our tickets and might be shouting "COYR" in Welsh!
impressed for a Tuesday night. I wanted to go but needed a weekend game and I am sure I am not the only one in that position
Tbf, we’ve not played them a lot in my years of watching the reds. Apart from 4 seasons they’ve never been higher than this level.
