Don’t care one bit, haven’t seen the advert and probably won’t see it. Not one thing I’ve said is a complaint, nor racist. So you’ve called me a snowflake for no apparent reason, which hasn’t offended me but if that’s you in your profile then if I see you at a game I’ll more than happily come to you and see who’s a snowflake.
No violence threatened or insinuated. I’d simply go say hello and no doubt his heart would fall out his bum. But surely throwing personal insults and wrongly labelling someone as a racist should be frowned upon too.
Chill out a bit peeps. It's just an advert about Father/Mother/Non-binary/Gender-fluid Christmas. Season of good will n that. Calling someone racist is usually gonna get a response. Threatening people isn't on either.
If it’s come across I’ve threatened him I haven’t, youll own all have your opinion on it and I can why you see it that way but it wasn’t meant to be and I apologise if it came across that way. It was meant to be in a sense that most people who sit behind a keyboard throwing regardless insults to people are trolls online who wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Maybe i didn’t explain it that well at the time, but it wasn’t a threat.
If EVERYTHING is a box ticking exercise then isn't it a bit pointless to comment that you believe this specifically is a box ticking exercise? If you were to apply your logic consistently you'd spend every second of your life pointing out that every single thing you see is a box ticking exercise. Imagine watching someone walk down the road "look at him, he's put his left foot forward, that's a box ticking exercise. Now he's put his right foot forward, that's another box ticking exercise" I'm sure you can see how ludicrous that sounds. Mainly because it is. A "box ticking exercise" isn't every action that ticks a box to complete a task it is (according to the Collins English dictionary "the process of satisfying bureaucratic administrative requirements rather than assessing the actual merit of something" In the context of this ad that means putting a black actress on TV simply to satisfy the bureaucratic requirement for black women on TV rather than choosing the actress on merit yet you are seemingly saying that you don't believe it's a box ticking exercise for this reason, you believe it's a box ticking exercise because it ticks the box of actress required, actress hired. That isn't what box ticking exercise means in common parlance.
Whilst I'm not really fussed about what colour plays a character in a film, the fact that Snow white & the 7 dwarves has been changed to 'magical creatures' because of the cast and only (iirc) actually features one real life dwarf annoys me. Roles for dwarves are extremely rare, and it would have been a perfect film for them to showcase their talent and hopefully get roles in other films. I understand they can't play James Bond or Jason Bourne but there's a million films they could feature in given a chance
Don't be a tit and threaten people on here. It makes you look childish, moronic and not at all threatening.

That is very commendable therefore as a true Labourite living in an affluent area you will be housing how many irregular immigrants ?
This post takes mental gymnastics to another level. Also, what the frig is an ‘irregular immigrant’??
I haven’t voted for Labour for well over a decade. I live in the borough with the one of the highest non white populations in the country. We donate in the region of £250 a month in food shopping to our local foodbank. I’m not sure what an irregular immigrant is, nor whoever they are, they’d want to live in our back bedroom in an immune compromised household.
I realised I’d not seen the advert yet so just sought it out on YouTube. I’ve got to say… I truly can’t understand how anyone can get their knickers in a twist about that at all. I thought it was quite amusing and something of a parody… of something completely fictitious. If that advert offends you, makes you angry, makes you feel a victim in some way, even a teensy bit… you’re well beyond the point of needing to give your head a wobble.
