Just an idea of the kind of warm indoor venue ourselves will hopefully achieve.
Meant to have been releasing plans for ours a couple of weeks away about a month ago now so guessing something hit another bump in the road.
Oldham Athletic recently opened something similar under one of their stands. Not like we have room under any of our stands!!
No doubt away fans will still have to endure those awful and woefully inadequate ‘facilities’ behind the stand simply because Town fans want be in the same end as them.
Looks great but it isnt the sort of thing we are currently planning. We are working on an outdoor fanzone (with covered areas). Something like Bolton
I believe the club have architectural plans but obviously they’ll need to go through planning/ costing etc etc. Not sure on the timescales for making them public.
Well Jon Flatman said the info was a couple of weeks away in the fans q&a posted on YouTube that the club held
Would make more sense to have a indoor fanzone with areas for going outside in the summer months not the other way round.
Great idea if we are planning to move the club to somewhere like the middle east or Arizona for year round sunshine.
That's really disappointing to read if that's what it's going to be. The words used when talking about it suggested a permanent structure. It's chuffing freezing for 75% of the season.
It can but so can a big square box drawn on the floor. I think people's point is that the impression given off by the CEO was that it was to be something more substantial than a few permanent parasols in a carpark or whatever they're secretly drawing up without consulting the wider fanbase.
Anything other than an indoor bar will be freezing, they should scrap the idea, build the unused floor on the East stand and turn it into a bar. Fan zones are ok in the summer and in Italy/Spain...
