Seems like just a moment ago I was watching him play with Stonesy for the England U21s at Oakwell.

    How time flies.

A well deserved moment for him tonight on winning his 100th cap. He's been a brilliant servant and captain who has seemed to genuinely love playing for England.

Massive shame he was injured during the Euros, he had an incredible season last year. That's on Southgate though, not only for taking him but actually starting him

Not so much starting him but more leaving him on until the very late stages when he was clearly struggling.

Agreed. He so clearly wasn't right and it was painful to see him struggling through. An honesty that he wasn't fit would have done everyone a favour.

He/Kane looks so much sharper and up for it than what he did in the Euros, although I think we all could see he was unfit or carrying an injury then.
But I'm pleased for him with two more goals, in his 100th cap. :)
These are frustrating games and opposing teams, but that's what 'relegation' to this level of the Nations league means.
Finland have barely been in our half of the pitch to be honest.

Yep always hard to break teams with a low block down, but I think we were very good tonight, moved the ball round nicely, always looked to go forward, used the wide spaces very nicely and should have had more goals. Great start for Carsley, very good performance in first half of first game against Ireland, slowed down a little second half, but overall I think he's done very well.

Yeah well done to Lee Carsley, he/we couldn't have asked for better than 2 wins and 4:0 in goals, in these games. :)
Greasy Jack (as I call him lol) looks up for it and like he's still trying to prove a point after missing the Euros. And that's always a good thing when players will make the extra effort, for whatever reason.
Not that they should need the excuse to do that though!.

Best striker I've seen in an England shirt. Combines the finishing of Shearer with the set-up play of Sheringham. Sad to see him out of touch in the Euros, but class is permanent. I suspect you'll go a long way to find a better grafter too. Self made in the best sense of the word.

He should be able to play for a long while with his style. Drops deep already and has a brilliant passing range on him, wouldn't surprise me to see him drop deeper and deeper eventually a bit like Rooney.

Scored 20+ goals for the 11th consecutive season and scored his 26th career hattrick tonight.

IMO the best England striker I’ve had the privilege of seeing, I hope he wins the league this year then returns to the premiership to break that record too!!

2 more penalties and two of his three goals coming against his ten men opponents that were 16/1 to win the match. These are the teams he does it against.

For goodness sake man, give credit where its deserved ehh!.
I know we all as England fans regularly criticise him at times (like during this years Euros), but Kane has got some brilliant career stats.

He's an absolute football legend. One of the very best this country has seen. And still just 31.

I again feel terrible for replying to dreamboy3000. After 20 years, I should expect such drivel.
