Considering the prices, I thought there would be much more interest in this game. We seem to be losing fans and its worrying.
Doesn’t surprise me mate. FA Cup long since lost a lot it’s appeal, even remember Premier season and 3rd round didn’t draw a big crowd compared to league games. Even if it was a fiver to go I don’t think be much interest, just how times have changed I suppose.
Boring draw for us. Non league team would have got more interest. We have let the prem teams devalue it rather than kicking them out.
They won’t be many more than [emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] home fans
It's a family reunion. Theyre coming from all over Yorkshire - brothers, kids, grandkids. Its a cheap day out for us all. Theyre all Barnsley fans but maybe not as kean as me. £55 for the lot of us.
Cup competition, **** draw, fairly close to Christmas so people will have other expenses, I'd be surprised if there's more than 6k there.
I’ll be amazed if there’s that many. When I got ours yesterday the ticket map didn’t look like there were even 4k sold.
Looking just now on the Eticketing map, it doesn't look many more than a BSM trophy match. Club will be disappointed considering the decent prices and probably regret opening up every side.
I thought it worked ok when they only opened the east stand against Swindon the other year. I know people whinged but it made sense. We can’t complain should they do similar next season. I hope we get through and get a nice earner in the third round - but I’ll admit I’m sitting this one out. My lad, like the Wigan game, can’t come as he’s starting work early. Even at a tenner a ticket I just don’t fancy coming to sit on my own. I did toy with it as Bristol Rovers was one of the two good home league performances. But I’ve figured lightning doesn’t strike twice.
We're making the bullshiit 3 hour round trip to watch floppy hair boy's garbage for the 3rd time this week because we aren't fannies. If you can't be bothered to pay £10 and make a 15 minute journey across Barnsley - i do sympathise. It can't be easy being a massive, massive fanny. Condolences. You enormous fannies.
