Take the sold figure and net off those who don’t show. About 3 of 8 of those I know with STs go now , I suppose cup will have been an extra purchase so more committed to bother
Just bought my ticket this morning east stand upper - never seen so many available seats for a Saturday 3pm kick off at this stage.
Is anyone truly that surprised? Since the Derby game in Feb, we've won 3 home games in all comps. Which is pathetic and in itself likely to put some off. And we're playing in the 2nd round of the cup against a team in the same division who we've already played at home this season. I want us to win, but I'm not sure I'd bother going even if I lived nearby and was free. Respect to everyone that makes the effort today.
Get a non league team like Brackley or Wealdstone away from home and going today will have come in handy for first refusal.
It’s our 3rd home game in a week and yes it’s cheap enough. Our home record is poor, and the opposition, with all due respect, are hardly box office, but it will still have an effect. Anyways I’ll be there cheering us on, looking forward to a good game and a win. COYR
Its like some are wanting there to be a poor crowd to attack the club again. I'll guess at 6.5 to 7 k which would be a decent crowd considering time of year, opponents, amount of home games on the trot etc. If you can get down to Oakwell its where you should be on a Saturday supporting your team.
Just seen on a facebook site for the programme we have used a picture of Blackburn Rovers not Bristol
Well it's my second game this season. First was Bristol Rovers home (league) game. Hope I'm a good omen. Man utd away in next round pocket some cash for the club.
I’m here was coming up to Dads anyway be surprised if we get 4K based in the numbers in 2 mins to kick off
What a contrast to that 4-1 FA Cup tie against these with an almost full ground and a few thousand from Bristol. They thought they were in with a good chance but they didn’t realise we had class players like Hignett and Dyer to run them ragged
I think a lot overlook that for many years we didn’t enter the cup until the 3rd round. Any smaller club we played were already on a run and had some momentum, and we were generally excited for the 3rd round draw. BFC in league one and the FA cup early rounds just don’t throw up anything to grab the fans interest.
