Let's sack him. Like we sacked the last one. But then one left. Then we sacked the one before. And the other. One left. One sacked. The issues at the club are far deeper than who sits in the dugout.
Feels abit like that... I rambert the buzz days of 2016 with pat cryne as owner but then again people slagged him off and wanted billionaires.
I’ve just got back and I honestly didn’t see Killip do anything wrong. Can’t say the same for our forward players who missed a veritable hatful of chances. Kelechi really does look an excellent player.
We've had 84 shots the last 4 games. Clearly the tactics arent that much of a problem, we're creating chances. Only 3 goals from that is not entirely down to him, you can't legislate for the likes of Cosgrove and Humphrys missing chances a 5 year old would score. The Reading game we had about half a dozen free headers from corners that all went over or wide. That's the players faults for being shìt.
Christ, think some of us need to chill the f.uck out on here. It's the 2nd round of the F.A cup. Any other day one of the numerous chances would have gone in and we'd have won. Not sure what Clarke can do about players shooting like they've been on the ale all day. It'll come together, just be patient.
I think Donny must have brought one of their resident caravan dwellers with them a few weeks ago who has cast a spell on the ground. It’s pretty much all gone wrong since then so that could be the reason why the players just cannot score at home. I know we keep creating chances, and the odd one goes in, but there is definitely some kind of black magic hanging over Oakwell.
Absolutely awful, although I don’t think I could have coped with another 7-0 thrashing at some premier league or even Championship side.
They are but the coach is part of the kit and caboodle. I'm not saying Clarke is total pants or anything just that when the club get anybody in its a cheap punt. Coach, players all seem to be punts to me - ill thought through - and while there are some positives in the playing dept there are some deep probs (which suggest you're correct ). Its complex of course and I still feel as though at some point this gradual decline (which I think we're in) will bottom out. January needs to see some genuinely encouraging news.
As I think Jay stated a bit ago....the board's main responsibility was to bring in a striker(their words) and a keeper. It looks like we put all our eggs in one basket for the kid in Holland, who pulled out at the last minute. Unfotunately we had no back up plan and are now relying on our two midfield summer signings to play up front....and although they are good signings for this level are not strikers.
You say "any other day", we've had 84 shots combined over the past 4 games and scored 3 goals. 2 were in 1 of those games. We've not had one of those "other days" for about 3 weeks now. I agree about Clarke though. Rocket up arses needed I think.
Not going to slate em cos we played well just not getting that rub of the green really - its getting laughable how bad we are at Oakwell though
It’s Against their human rights mate, article 69: “It is illegal to fire rockets up (or down) footballers arseoils”.
I say any other day, but what I meant was we're in a poor bit of form in front of goal - as you say it's been the last 3 weeks. It's not been like it all season, just look at the stats from any of the games earlier in the season or last month where we we knocking a couple of goals in a game. We'll be fine, although a striker is needed in January.
