Serious question then. With this squad of players, where should we be in the league do you reckon?

... and relying on a settled starting eleven. This is only a good idea when that 11 are winning, not when you haven't won in 5 games.

DKD? That's quite an impressive feat, even if he didn't score a goal.

No idea. All I know is we've been run into the ground by charlatans, no Conway or Chien Lee in sight to blame either.

Because repeatedly sacking managers and overhauling the squad is a tried and tested formula for success in football?

Its a sad state of affairs. We were pressing first 10 mins and looked lively yet we didnt look like we would score. Last 10 mins game was petering out yet we looked likely to concede. Seems our MO.

we can dissect this that and the other in detail but i just think its a case that we aren't good enough. We haven't signed enough quality and if players overachieve it still isnt enough. Maybe our ability to compete at the top half of L1 has gone as a club under this current setup.

Phillips goes missing for large junks of games. Connell massively out of form. Be lucky to finish in top 8. Looking like a mid table finish. Board let the fan base down yet again. This lot like the Cryne regime before are a disgrace.

    I don’t think so.
What’s our wage budget in this league? 8th? 10th? This season is a slight anomaly due to teams with freakish budgets but we remain a top league one club based on budget ….i think…so should be competing.

Well that second half was really poor.

Wrexham deserved it, even though I was unimpressed with them. I think despite the hype at the start of the season this is an exceptionally poor league and anybody who can get organised and get in a run can get promoted. I just don’t see that being us.

Im struggling to see where we go from here. It’s incredible we’ve got a tonne of players, but we don’t seem to have many options to improve things.

The biggest failing though is a complete lack of drive. Our players walk and amble. Rarely do you see a sprint. Intensity is fleeting. Stagnant and passive is the status quo.

Our structure is so so poor. Individual decision making all over the pitch is pretty dire and tactics are alien.

We’ve got problems with personnel, tactics, coaching and leadership.

Yet we’re in the top half. I’m just thankful it’s such a poor league or we would have problems!

Harsh on Pines, he's a big lad and one of those players that needs a decent run of games to get up to speed yet he's not getting that opportunity even though we've got a very vulnerable defence.

Their best quality is momentum and will to win, we seem to be struggling to get both.

Sorry but the defence is far more vulnerable with him in it.

Mate, he is dog ****, explain to me what he's created, you can pick the last 10 or 12 matches. he can't beat a man, can't head, can't pass and can't cross and some games he can't even stand up.

My observations - Nwakali should have started, Our passing is dire. MDG and Earl must think they have pace, both constantly lose possession. Russell is poor. Phillips has been for a while and looks like he can’t be arsed. Halo needs to stop the diving. Well played Killip and Robert’s. DKD isn’t firing. Humphrey’s needs a partner.

Oh…….and what were all our midfield three doing all on the halfway line for their goal.

Glanced, according to the Sky commentator. I don't know what the right word was for what he did, but it wasn't that.

Well done to Ben Killip today, barely put a foot wrong and wasn't at fault for the goal.
